Mechanism of action
Their low molecular weight peptides cross the blood-brain barrier and mimic the endogenous neurotrophic factors NGF, BDNF, and GDNF. They promote neuronal survival, neuroplasticity, and neurogenesis.
Reported research ranges
5–30 ml IV or IM daily for 10–28 days.
Reported adverse effects
Headache, dizziness, mild nausea. Reactions at the injection site. Rarely: confusion.
Storage and handling
Room temperature (15–25 °C). Do not freeze.
