- Mechanism of action
- Inhibits activin, myostatin, and other proteins of the TGF-β family by directly binding to them and preventing their interaction with receptors. By blocking myostatin, it removes the primary inhibitor of muscle growth.
- Reported research ranges
- 100 mcg intramuscular daily for no more than 10–14 days.
- Reported adverse effects
- Excessive growth of small muscles, joint inflammation, tendonitis due to muscle-tendon imbalance.
- Storage and handling
- Refrigerate at 2–8 °C once reconstituted. Highly sensitive to temperature.
